Christmas cards: Special edition

This year we happily present a special edition of Christmas cards: With warm regards from Devocean Pictures to go around the world. We’d like to celebrate natural as well as cultural diversity and therefore created our special edition of Christmas cards in English, German, Dutch, Spanish and Indonesian. As a matter of fact, we usually don’t celebrate Christmas or send Christmas cards.

For the last seven years, we have always been working at Christmas; somewhere beautiful and tropical, no complaints there. As we are spiritual but not religious, the date as such has no meaning for us anyway. Nevertheless, we grew up with Christmas (me in Germany more than Yoeri in the Netherlands where they used to celebrate Sinterklaas instead) and the one thing that mattered with both of these celebrations is spending time with family and friends. Finally, we get a chance to do that again.

Merry Christmas with warm regards

In this sense, the whole year has been special for us in many ways (Looking back in gratitude: Happy New Year). We are more than happy to be in Europe celebrating the end of this year with our families and friends. However, the grass is always greener on the other side, we are looking forward to new adventures on many levels and we’ve definitely been out of the water for way too long. Therefore our special edition of Christmas cards is based on ocean motives, underwater macro subjects of the sea to highlight: Small is beautiful and life, no matter where you are, is what you make of it.
