We protect what we love. Therefore we’d like to share our love for the ocean: Videos, photos, blog entries (English and German), initiatives, activism, good news, diving (courses), animal behaviour, travelling and whatever else we do, like, support and find relevant to save our seas and to create awareness about the beauty and weirdness of our world.
Yoeri has felt connected to the ocean for as long as he can remember, and has been working in the dive industry for over 20 years. As an MSDT he guided, taught, and managed dive centres and live-aboard operations often in remote locations. For the last 16 years he has also been working as an underwater film maker. His work includes numerous promotional films, documentation for conservation programs, productions for NGO’s, educational and travel programs for Swiss, Egyptian and Philippine broadcast companies. He can teach various specialties in English, German and Dutch (PADI, NAUI, SSI).
Nicki not only has a passion for diving but also for the environment and conservation thereof. Before she fell head over heels in love with diving she studied Geography, Management of Environment and Politics and worked several years for non-governmental organisations (all-time favourite: PowerShift e.V.). After a five month divemaster internship including safari tours through the Visayas (Philippines) she became PADI instructor in 2012. She can teach in English, German and Spanish and is working on her Dutch. As she loves (underwater) photography and writing she is looking forward to be engaged with all sorts of social media and our website.
We believe that education leads to conservation – on land or underwater. To protect our underwater treasures from involuntary destruction we focus on improving the buoyancy control of all our students and dive buddies. Respect the environment, control your movements and positions, save energy and conserve air. The better your buoyancy control the more you can enjoy the natural wonders of the sea.
